Just a simple post: what the Hell is the USgov doing?

Does Obama only really move to support dictators and oligarchs?

I read report after report that the people really need help and our government does nothing at all. This is the lead up to WW2 all over again. This is our generation's Spain. That monster Gaddafi is Franco but far worse.

We Americans are feckless and useless. Out of sight and out of our minds and we again stand by and watch people being slaughtered. We rarely get moved by events in the Congo, Sudan or any of the hotspots for slaughter and rape.

America sleeps more than any other nation except for France. Yet today The French FM woke up and recognized the provisional government of Libya. At least the French still remember their revolution. Our revolution was really about slaver owners fearing the British might abolish the practice and the rich not wanting to pay taxes. Nothing much has changed in America except the rich find indentured slaves in China.

The Libyans need our help. The women of the region need our help.

Obama's budget: straight out of Dickens

This is straight out of Dickens. Have the working poor shiver in their beds so the rich can keep cozy while counting all their money?

Yes let’s cheer Obama for being the nice rich man who apologizes for making Tiny Tim shiver but remember Timmy is still in the cold without a blanket.

What a cruel and unjust system of government we have. Obama in 2008 challenged us to not be cynics with the Audacity of Hope message.

Obama asked us to speak up so as to give support to the change we all wanted. Then once elected he brought in all the corrupt players from Bill Clinton’s years and when we voiced our support for a Public Option he told us to be quiet. When we voiced our dismay that so little was done for the poor he told us to be quiet and vote regardless for his party.

When a President and Congress no longer listen to the people and only listens to a tiny elite of rich bankers and Oligarchs, this would normally describe a dictatorship.

When it comes to Iran, Obama is so far out ahead of the people, that he is chomping at the bit desperate for them to catch up.

Read today that America boot started the Iranian revolt using a barrage of Farsi Twitters and it of course has flopped. We have also endangered brave people all so that Obama can posture and boast in 2012.

This is so crass. Hillary Clinton and her boss Barak were busy for the last two weeks trying to not react to the Egyptian, spontaneous, uprising.

Now America thinking that the Egyptian revolt was due in large part to a Google executive, using Twitter and Facebook tries to make what was wishful thinking a reality.

Just goes to show that Obama and Hillary have learned nothing from the past month. The last two weeks they have lived under the delusion that a Google executive using Twitter can be the new Gandhi R U.S.
So having been slow to support a spontaneous revolt that did not need Twitter. They then decide that sending Twitters cunningly in Farsi would help kick start the revolt. It's really embarrassing to see another government underachieve.
Worse still unlike Egypt they have made the possible uprising an American sponsored event and if the regime wanted exhibit A in proving that we are hypocrites they just have to point out that Obama ordered no Twitters sent to the Egyptians.
Too little too late in Egypt is now applauded as great diplomacy by American pundits. When it comes to Iran, Obama is so far out ahead of the people that he is chomping at the bit desperate for them to catch up. With Egypt he was shameful and made America look disgraceful.
Obama's hypocrisy makes me regret my vote for him in 2008.

The Egyptian rich have a choice, Twitter their surrender, or have their children Facebook a bloody future.

We Americans have a curious view of the world. Despite the news this morning of widespread strikes and articles yesterday about Egyptians striking to get rid of their Oligarch bosses, Class, is rarely if ever mentioned.

The reasons for the revolt, so clearly stated, time and time again are mostly economic and having a real democracy is the vehicle of choice to achieve a better life.

If Obama truly wants to avoid a Muslim Brotherhood regime, then he should allow the Egyptian people to seek justifiable retribution against the “Davos” elite, who continue to undermine the hopes and aspirations of the people. Sadly for Obama, a great admirer of the CEO class, the problems of the region, if not the world, lay at the feet of Oligarchs and bankers.

I appreciate the danger of highlighting the massive disparity of wealth between Egyptians and their rulers but do we really want an extremist government come in offering bigotry as a solution?

Is it so terrible to suggest that the Wealthy of Egypt surrender their books for an audit? Is it Marxist to suggest the average Egyptian is paid enough to raise a family? Why do we assume that the whole world accept the rule of Oligarch controlled governments?

Do we really dread Socialism more than “tribal” hatreds?

Egypt will not accept a minority getting richer and dictating.

“These are the People Obama wants to help more than the Middle Class. These poor, poor executives, need his help. We however do not need his attention. We are lucky that he sees while being whisked from one Oligarch's compound to the next.

Barak's Bankers are being strangled by too many petty regulation­s. The best solution to solve the crisis he has found himself in, is to give them all a tax holiday. Then they can express their thanks by donating to his 2012 campaign then his Presidential Library.

I've never lived in a country where Capitalists are so pampered. I've never known politicians lie so blatantly. Actually I exaggerate, we have the same problem in Britain. However what makes American unique is that the real liars are Democrats. Republicans campaign on a whole platform of bigotry and never really deviate from it. True their Tea Party base is not too happy but it has more to do with them wanting Republicans to be the baddest and most evil of all members of Congress. However no Republican has ever become a Socialist: have they? Yet the last two Democrat Presidents have behaved like Republicans, worse than that they support or at best appease bigots of all types. This would be akin to W supporting Welfare Mothers, banning the Death Penalty and prosecuting the CIA for torturing prisoners.

Barak is loves Bankers should be his 2012 slogan.

Back to the topic:

American Capitalist­s led by Goldman Sachs are the largest and most effective virtual terrorist group in the world. They make the Mafia look like garbage collectors­, well I guess that's all they are now. The small list of GS partners have more wealth than any Roman Emperor. Blankenfein has more power than any Pope over the Medieval States fearful of excommunication and certainly more power than any Rabbi over King David ever, ever had. These demons of Capitalism now have no need of armies but they do cause harm to millions of Americans by forcing them out of home and hearth. Their aim is clear, that is to turn us into nothing more than indentured slaves for their children who will never have to walk as mere mortals.

Obama, whose children now holiday with European Royalty; has behaved cravenly towards this one bank as if they were more important than those of us who voted for him. We are more important but he no longer thinks about us at all. It is maddening that no one cares how deep Barak's betrayal has been. It's maddening how many Democrats will vote for him again and then cheer while he gets richer and they get poorer.

Question: if Democrats vote and act like old style Republican­s than what pray is the point of voting for them?”

I don't get it. Last night led to this morning with Gibbs backing off Obama from pushing hard for Gun Control...­a normal father..wi­thout Secret Service for his kids...wou­ld want gun control or teach them how to shoot straight. However he was not voted in because we wanted him to be normal.

I am a Socialist.­.I am so tired of having to put in endless caveats... yes I drink Tea becasue I am British born...no I do not support the Tea Party, no I have not ever voted Republican­, nor supported them..BUT I do not agree with having to LIKE Obama...he is our president for good or bad.

So I do not get Obama's Hallmark Eulogy of last night as it led him today NOT supporting us in a struggle to rid America of guns. He's a phony so I suppose he is normal after all:(

Palin is not that special a Republican.

Remember the Communist With hunts? Now think of how an insane "Patriot" must feel when Republican members of Congress + Hate Radio tells him our nation is being destroyed by Socialists in Democratic party drag.

Socialists are the Ghosts in the Attic of the American Republican. We are the Jews of Politics..I am Jewish..many wonderful Socialists have been.

Please guys remember the days of the House Un-American Activities Committee:

Really this is about the mainstream Republican party being taken over by extremists. If Obama had let the Weathermen into his Cabinet that would the equivalent of what the Republicans are openly doing right now. Palin represents extremists that threaten to bring guns next time they march on Washington.

You do not deal with a mainstream Republican party that uses racist innuendo, lies and slander by appeasing them.

Our problem: be we real Socialists, Progressive and Liberal Democratic party members is that Palin is not special. She represents the vast underbelly of the Republican base and Congressional leadership. Not confronting Palin and her supporters will lead to increased violence. History is my guide and Obama must resist appeasement. We Socialist died in our millions and though he is not a Socialist, he should remember the lies of old and not shake hands with those who would see him dead.

In this case you do not hold your enemies close. I fear a real plot and worry about him going to Arizona.

Calling Obama a Socialist is code for being a Jew as too many Americans blacklisted for Un-American Activities were Jewish.

Why cannot I post such things as this? As a Jew I cannot pretend I am as guilty as Palin: Never Again, is Never Again.

Abe Foxman has been seen often, as exaggerating the threat to us here in America. Palin has proved him right.

Finally my Diaspora are waking up to what Palin represents and who are her supporters. Blood Libel, like the word Holocaust is etched into the Western consciousness. These words describe a nation taken over, VOTED IN, by people who have Hate as their compass.

Are we not allowed to post that Palin and the Republican Party are extremists and a real danger not just to Jews, Muslims but everyone?

Blood Libel....there is indeed no Right Response but an outright apology, a large cash payment to help victims of racism and gunfire would not go amiss.

It seems the Zeitgeist is to not critique Palin or other Republicans but finally my Diaspora has broken this ridiculous Kant and now she is being warned, she and the Republican party are stepping outside of decency, honesty and need to apologize for whipping up this storm of gun firing bigots.

I was taught Never Again means Never Again. I was taught on my grandpa's knee never to go silently into that Good Night but fight if you have to BUT at least speak up loud and clear.
